Capital Markets provided investment banking services to
Barricade Building Products, a division of Specialty Coating &
Laminating, LLC in connection with the acquisition of the
housewrap division from Covalence Specialty Coatings.
The Barricade brand of housewrap,
first manufactured and sold in 1986, was the second line of
housewrap introduced to the market following DuPont’s Tyvek
line.
Smither & Company initiated the
transaction, negotiated the terms of the acquisition and placed
all debt and equity capital financing required to complete the
transaction. |
